From the aspect of humoral immunity and antioxidant activity, it is indicated that the effect of nano zinc added to the diet on broilers. In the feeding experiment lasting for 5 weeks, the creator randomly divided the chicks (Ross308) fed with basic diet into three groups, and gave them 40 mg/Kg inorganic zinc oxide (control experiment), 40 mg/Kg nano zinc oxide (NZ1) or 80 mg/Kg nano zinc oxide (NZ2) respectively.

The chickens were injected with DNP-KLH (2,4-dihydrazine hemocyanin) on the 7th and 21st days after the study, and blood was collected on the 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th and 35th days to measure the levels of human immunoglobulin Y (IgY) and malondialdehyde and their antioxidant enzyme activities. The immune cells were measured according to the percentage and index value of possible blood cell lymphocytes swallowed and the activity of possible T lymphocytes by reticulocyte conversion test.

The results showed that, compared with the experimental group, the addition of nano zinc oxide in the diet could increase (p<0.05) the activity of dismutase, dismutase and enzyme activity, and reduce the content of malondialdehyde in broilers, but there was no significant difference between NZ1 and NZ2 groups. In addition, the serum protein IgY, total lymphocyte count and phagocyte count of chick seedlings fed with nano zinc oxide diet were significantly higher than those in the control experiment (p<0.05).

In general, adding 80mg/kg nano zinc oxide to the diet can improve the antioxidant capacity and cellular immune function of broilers.
